If you’re considering an eye lift procedure anytime soon, it’s important to have an understanding of the blepharoplasty recovery process. Blepharoplasty is just another term for an eyelid lift, which is a fairly straightforward process from the surgery to the healing phase.
The surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure, allowing you to go home immediately afterwards. Patients should arrange for a driver to take them home before the day of the surgery. For a week after surgery, your tissues will be healing and adjusting to their new locations. In order to avoid any issues with blepharoplasty recovery, make sure to keep your head above chest level while sleeping and to avoid smoking for at least a few weeks afterwards.
If you are unsure about blepharoplasty recovery, please feel free to contact us at our Beverly Hills office. Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon will explain in detail what to expect.
